What do you mean 'the 'free world' can spend billions fighting the Taliban because their politics dont match ours.'

The West is fighting the Taliban because they are a murderous fanatical group of people who hate the West since it allows its citizens, especialy its women, freedom of thought, freedom of expression and freedom of dress. They will do ANYTHING to obliterate those countries which espouse these values. It will be a long fight.


I agree that the elimination of the growing of opium should be eliminated but fightng the Taliban must be the highest priority. Maybe we could give that job to the Euros as they don't seem to have the stomach (except for the Dutch) to fight anything, especially the Taliban.
