If waging war against the Taliban is so crucial to world peace
Why did the US drop the ball and the UK and Australia follow their lead like obedient little lap dogs and go off and invade Iraq on lies and bull instead.
Especially consdering Saddam and Iraq was fully contained and posed no immediate threat to anyone
Maybe if they had not dropped the ball they would have had some chance of achieving something in Afghanistan.
Now it appears we are going to end up like every other country over the centries who have tried to change or control Afghanistan, suffer huge losses and end up leaving after achieving very little.
