Isn't being employed by any employer, "a contract"?
Whatever the case, it's time that they realised their, and their clubs
survival, relies on DRASTIC cost cutting,and not being so
so tenacious over a relatively small, (to them), amount of money.
Really sounds that they've mis-managed their wages,
and can't afford zero pay, for even two months.
AFL is offering an 80% paycut, which means they'd get paid around $5,000
per month. Can't survive on that?
Maybe they should try living on the dole for a few months.
