I so hate the "role model" tag put on these players.
They are only role models because the media say they are and portray them in that way.
They are paid to play footy and try win premierships, not give parents warm and fuzzies at night when they put their kids to sleep.
They are human beings not possessions for the public.
yes kids look up to great players, maybe the parents could do their job and explain whats happened rather than using the player to blame.
So we teach our kids, dont touch drugs but if you do we will sack you and send u out in the cold, thats a good little boy, thanks for the premierships, seeya later.
