The AFLs lack of vision is monumental.....they talk about making it a global game....for Christ sake how many countries have sporting grounds the dimensions of the average AFL playing field in their cities. So they have to play on smaller grounds with smaller team sizes...? ...so for starters it’s makes sense to reduce our player numbers here to 16 or 15 so at least the game isn’t ridiculously bastardised elsewhere and there is some continuity. Imagine if soccer was played in some countries with 4 players less per side or tennis played on different sized courts...
