Rather than make an extra goal square wouldn't it be easier to make the goals wider? Take say 15mm out of the points area either side and therefore make the goals 300mm wider. This would mean more goals scored and a more attacking game. The ball ends up back in the centre more often thus reduces the need for extended kick out areas so ball is not trapped in a forward line. More goals also make the game more exciting for the paying public. One simple change could make a big difference imo.
I doubt that it would create 50 plus goals in games often however it would mean more 40 plus games.
Just seems to me to be a far more simple possible solution than playing around with having double goal squares etc.
