I was pretty happy with tipping Essendon at half time yesterday. A bit of vengeance for Hawthorn doing so bad when i tipped them for the eight last year.
Just goes to show how close the comp. is and one week won't make the season.
One thing that i think is going to show up is the better teams will appreciate the longer quarters. The teams with a lot of young kids are going to fatigue pretty quickly.
I also think the sub rule is good because too many times last year the game was decided by early injuries.
