he didn't want out. the crows tapped him on the shoulder and basically told him he would more than likely be spending a lot more time in the two's in 2020 and on. I think they want to put more time now into Fogarty. JJ just isn't in the best 22 anymore. same with quite a few others - that and as well some of the older players wanted 3 to 4 year contracts and Crows simply said NO.
So its in his best interest to find another club its also in the crows best interest as well he has two years to go and is on really good money - so even if the crows pay some of his wage they be way in front.
Its not out there as much but the same goes for Eddie. and still that's not even a done deal with Carlton yet. and truss me the crow do want it to be a done deal for all concerned. especially Eddie's sake. Its a given he wouldn't be happy playing most of the year in the crows two's
