Yes you are right, congrats Melbourne. The final margin was a shock given the lead the Bulldogs had early in the third quarter. I read somewhere a couple of weeks ago that Jack Viney was built for finals. Father Todd Viney would have been proud of his son as he helped swarm the ball forward in Q3 that resulted in a much needed goal and from that point onwards Melbourne stormed into the lead and never looked like losing.
The scary thing is this team will remain intact for about 4 years. Could be looking like the recent Richmond dynasty which earned 3 premierships in 4 years.
Thanks to WA and especially Perth for hosting a magnificent GF. Perth looked stunning yesterday and to see 60,000 people at the ground not having to wear masks, well I am very jealous of that.
WA stepped up when the AFL was in its hour of need. Every Victorian is grateful that it did, so thank you.
