You have to question why Tex Walker was still eligible to win the Brownlow yesterday, described as the 'best & fairest', when he was banned for 6 games for racist comments?
Similarly how Gaff was named in the All Australian Team in 2018 when he was banned for 8 weeks for striking Brayshaw?
It seems that although the AFL is on top of it's disciplinary actions it can't seem to tie them up with it's acolades.
Imagine what would happened if Winnes had made racist comments during post season celebrations this year. Would the AFL stilk allowed him to win the Brownlow & collect the prize money?
