In the last 2-3 minutes if you're 2 goals up yes but not with 10-15 minutes to go.
Seems to me that they lacked confidence in their own abilities to put the game beyond reach.
AFL is such a game of momentum, if you're ahead why not press the advantage?

100% spot on - exactly what Matthew Loyd said as well on this mornings Footy Show. Can't relax when a team is up 44 points - keep playing & trying to score/convert. These days momentum swings during a game of footy occurs often so a 5-6 goal lead is literally nothing these days.
