    But why don't the AFL pay income tax whereas the law abiding crowd (those not carrying guns and not having 11 warrants out for their arrest) pay income tax? IS AFL STILL A SPORT?

    Greyhound Racing is being banned down in Australia. Horse racing is now in jeopardy and could be easily banned.

    Why not AFL given its record of not paying income tax? Being a venue of gun carry, violent brawls in the crowd, off the field antics and drug taking?

    Perhaps no one following AFL pays tax, we are talking about gun toting, welfare/ charity cases but there is a lot of money in it, might not be clean money but the AFL makes a billion dollars a year in revenue and pays no tax on it. Why?

    Is the AFL a "sport" if it behaves like that and if its' crowds carry guns and need to go through enhanced security from the MCG to Geelong to South Adelaide?

    And I thought the guns were out of Australia but now we know they just get open carried into AFL Games down there.
