Some of the AFL umpires are clearly on a power trip & make calls that common sense says they shouldn't.
The Freo free kick yesterday for 'passing the ball to a team mate' was clearly something that didn't warrant a free kick (& certain goal) if you had any common sense.
Would that have happened in a GF?
Of course not, so it shouldn't have happened yesterday.

The biggest single problem with the AFL is the inconsistencies of umpiring, not just from week to week but game to game.
