Brisbane are now favourites to beat Sydney next week probably on recent winning form alone I would say. Knock off Sydney though, and the Lions will probably very likely finish in the top 4, with a chance of finishing 2nd. And in their short history, when the Lions have been pretty good, they usually finish 2nd.
I still think there is room for improvement though, against the Eagles a narrow win was understandable, but they really haven't been able to put any team away in the last 3 games since thumping Port.
But then I guess Collingwood did that for most of the last couple of years anyway.
