Crazy season. I thought the Dogs were looking like flag contenders but can still miss the top eight if they lose to GWS in the final round. Carlton and Hawthorn would need to win their two remaining games (looks possible on paper) and Freo win one of their last two.

IMO Carlton would only be a 50/50 proposition against the Eagles at Optus/Perth this weekend, considering their injuries and the young Eagles showing a bit of ticker and fight in recent times.
