    Looks like quite a bizarre case, but, why did the accused's lawyer not just subpeona the documents directly from the PNG Civil Aviation authority?

    Why was it left to the partner of the accused to "find" the documents?

    In my opinion, there are just as many questions for the accused's defence team as there are for anyone else. Surely, the accused would have known of the existence of these records.

    Again, I don't know what really happened here, but, at first glance, there seems to be some deficiencies in the defence case as well.

    Just in my opinion, of course.
