Agreed that there are some questions that need answering.
But, I think that if I was charged with vile offences such as this man was, I'd be doing a little more in my defence, than merely "requesting records".
And, why was this issue not raised at his Trial? Sounds a bit strange to me.
If you knew evidence existed, I would be raising it with the DPP, then the trial Judge, firstly in the abscence of the Jury, and secondly, during the Trial itself.
