Or he writes that stuff because it's getting shareholders riled up and gets clicks - a few factual errors here or there isn't important in the scheme of things. Most people aren't aware of the too and fro of patent applications either.

It's easy to write; he can knock an article like that off in about 30 minutes. His bosses probably don't give a crap what he writes as long as he gets a certain amount of traction (clicks) - the more complaints, the better - it means it will probably be shared on the social networks if there is a bit of gossip (more clicks).

And ultimately, he doesn't give that much of a crap because it is a pre-revenue business; your average reader of the AFR isn't into the subtleties of quantum computing - they're all about the PE ratios and what the big miners are up to.

Best ignored IMO, they've already responded to the questions in the article, and Mo will respond further if he sees fit, but I suspect they'll just let their output in coming months do the talking.
