It's not really completely speculative, as they actually have successfully moved a qubit at room temperature, which they've tested using specially devised equipment that has taken years to build. They are utilising a $150 million lab facility. So, sure, the path to a fully working prototype and then commercialisation is a very long road, but this is all disclosed. It's certainly not speculative in terms of whether or not there will be a market for it; there definitely will be a huge demand for quantum computing functionality on a microchip at room temperature.
