You may have a good point. Per my posting yesterday on the ?Ann: Letter to Shareholders? thread, Smith resigned from Yahoo!7 on 24 Sep 2007 (http://www.bandt.com.au/news/yahoo7-ceo-quits-but-stays-at-seven).
He joined Engin on 24 Sep 2007 but only as a director, not moving into the Chairman's role until 24 Jan 2008.
Just heard that Engin/Seven are now telemarketing top 500 shareholders to press them into agreeing to the proposal. ______________________________________________
