There's no evidence to suggest that. If that did happen it would be illegal. Maybe it did happen, we'll just have to wait and see.
What we only know is the frame work of the arrangement. And if you look at how it is structured you can easily see how it would be possible to create an artificial market.
In other words, the evidence to date suggest that demand for their product was artificial inflated through the use of a finance arrangement and their early success was likely based on that.
