LINC’s deposit is 'oil shale', not 'shale oil'. BHP purchased a large area of 'shale oil'. So I'm not sure there is much of a comparison here to be honest.
Not meaning to be a party pooper but in order for the oil shale to become economically viable the oil price needs to remain very high as the capex required to access the oil captured in the rock is very intense. Dicko, you might know a bit more about this? In truth this is not my area, but I think that's right.
Personally I hope it's not a side show to the quarterly. Sorry to be grim.
