AFR has just published an article with above headline.
It makes a very interesting read, however there is one big false detail.
It states that GQG lost 11% comparative to Magellan and Platinums 30% losses and Janus Hendersons 40% losses.
The author forgot to convert Janus and GQG into AUD to properly compare. GQG actually increased FUM over the comparative period in AUD. Magellan’s and Platinum’s FUM would be worse if converted into USD.
Lies, damned lies and statistics.
