Share buyback a very good idea while the price is so low. If SP goes back up to $10 in the medium term then holders have paid as little as 75c for a dollar. Prudence in making an acquisition does seem sensible particularly given this companies history but I can see the other side of the arguament as well.... It might also be a good idea to make a bolt on acquisition with a good return on investment while asset prices are down. I think that considering how the share price has been going institutional investors and retail holders will contnue to push for this until eventually management cave. The management have their fingers crossed that something will show up at prominent hill and I think they want to cover this base first but the market doesnt seem to think this is going to happen.
