Re Hugh Massie "It (the AFR article) implies that Hugh lied about not owning any shares in 2015 and 2016" : if he did lie then I assume he has broken some ASX rules and may suffer serious consequences. If he didn't lie, however, I wonder whether he can't take legal action against Fin Review? While the AFR is careful not to make an outright accusation, you can't interpret the article in any other way other than HM is lying, which is pretty strong from the Fin Review. Either way I have no way of knowing; I would assume that Fin Review have carefully checked this, but who really knows at this stage?
Re "Bald Box, Hairy Rock and Smokinale" : a lot of insinuation in the AFR article but their main accusation is that these are strange names! I hadn't heard two of them are in strike off action, can you expand on this? In any case, what are the implications for BIG? I can't see the connection except that they happen to be shareholders.
It still seems to me that the AFR have gathered a lot of public information and strung it together with lots of heavy implications. One example: choice of accountant "raised eyebrows". With whom? Why no quote? Why no explanation of why the eyebrows were raised? Obviously this is just hyperbole, a throw away line that implies some sort of ne'er-do-well without actually getting specific. I wonder if the rest of the article isn't more of the same.

What does strike off action mean?
To BIG? Nothing - has no effect.
It's odd though that a company is incorporated in November 2015, gets issued millions of shares, have no trace of a business when google'd and then doesn't pay their annual fee to ASIC.
BIG management need to come out and clarify what services those 3 companies offered.
