I hear what you are saying and I too feel very sorry for anyone who is suffering financially as a result of this but it is never fair to shoot the messenger. Shapiro is just doing his job which is to ask difficult questions and disclose information that might not otherwise come to light.

You know there is never much space between a just and a corrupt society and a fair and fearless media is often the difference. Why did the AFR single out BIG for the laser light? I am not sure but I suspect they got whispers about the smell of a dead rat somewhere in the cellar. To be honest, I think the story has a lot further to run and I hope some reorganisation of the Board will restore shareholder wealth.
