No one is buying up large volumes at the current share price.
It is being traded and is luring in the mums and dads.
Trader A buys into stock, bumps the SP by a few pips; mums and dads think there's news incoming and jump on the bandwagon, the SP goes up a few more pips then Trader A sells and makes a small percentage.
Rinse and repeat. They're called pip traders.
This has been going on for over a year except it use to be between 5-6c but now is between 3-4c as some long termers have pulled the pin.
