I doubt it.
The board will be embarrassed that this got to shareholders via the media, and they will have to go into damage-control mode, so this will push them to produce a "Please explain..." The sooner that happens, the better.
The company funds spent have reportedly been paid back, but I do agree with other posters here that the guilty party needs to do the honourable thing and fall on his sword.
