Slightly left field but lets not forget its not just FAR and WPL who are affected by PE, any project delays or difficulties will also impact on Cairn and given the rumour they were trying to sell in part or whole and with or without operatorship!!! one wonders if in fact its the other larger parties that will face greater challenges/difficults rather than FAR with an extending timeline.

Regardless the next 6/12 months will sort most of the unanswered questions and uncertainty is a buying opportunity.

Just a quick one on PE because everyone loves it i think we can all agree its as clear as mud as to which party has which docs and Govt approvals etc and the only clear thing is no one actual appears to be able to prove anything regardless of all the posturing. The conclusion one has to draw is that this is not black and white and as others posters have suggested whilst COP/WPL have a reasonable change of succuss there is also a reasonable change of failure. Who stands to loose FAR who already hold the equity position or WPL.
