From what I read, PC has about a 44% chance of Samo coming up dry. So taking my low ball "total guess" chance of success for FAR of 5% with PC chance that Samo will fail, 44% gives about 2.5%. Say again low balling it is a $2B return for Woodside that means their breakeven would be about $50M.
(0.05x.44x$2B)
I am sure Woodsides Risk Area would have better numbers than me... but I wouldn't expect them to come out lower than this. I have really been very conservative.
(BTW Republicans are mad, so can never tell, and Samo will be historic)
