Fairfax Media Stock Price drop in last 12 months is approaching 50% . Sales of Metro Media (including AFR) recorded biggest drop in sales within the entire group (down 9.1%). The whole thing is being held up by Domain (real estate media interest), which derives revenue that is built around the biggest real estate bubble in Australia's history. Maybe our mate at AFR could do an "expose" on what happens to Domain when the advertising money feeding into Domain dries up as interest rates go up. US 10 year Treasury is approaching 3.0% and my sense is that it will increase to about 3.5% over next 12 months.

Go look at the share price chart of this Titanic effort. Notice the direction it is headed? Lots of reporters headed for the chopping block? Gotta keep churning out more stuff. For a good weekend laugh go and read the weekend version of Domain. Oddly this pile of stuff is not behind a paywall.
