Lets not give the AFR too much air time. Just sit tight until the response to the Aware letter is posted. Remember BIG does not need to respond to these AFR articles - it is the ASX Aware letter that they are responding to and at this stage none of us (no matter what is being said or claimed on this or any other forum) know what is in that letter.

What we do know is that BIG responded in time for the initial questions in the Aware letter but were then asked additional questions (quite possibly clarifications of answers provided).

Anything outside of this is all speculation.
