When it comes to matters that you are not an expert in that field (accountancy / set up business structures). If you have a previously good relationship with a service provider why wouldn't you keep using them? Sydney to Newcastle not that far for something so important. My ex used to drive 1.5 hours to get her hair done because she liked her hairdresser and no one locally could do it how she liked. I'm sure if they knew the guy running the firm was not above board they would have gone somewhere else...everything is always easier to make the correct decision in hindsight.
