Frankly I think you are jumping at shadows. The damage professionally to either side if the action you are suggesting was to eventuate would amount to career suicide. Why don’t you reach out to either side and ask the question? There’s no way it will happen so really a waste of time to continue discussing it imo, but it’s your brain space use how you see fit.
