Regarding Morgan Stanley and their downgrade can anyone shed any light on Google Hotels and how they will actually impact. On face value if you look at Google Hotels they will give you option, sometimes, of booking direct with hotel, or you can book through the list of providers which include Booking.com, expedia, tripdavisor etc. So in some way, how google ranks these booking engines may impact the booking engine click through and therefore commission. However if the major business going forward for Webjet is the Web beds then I fail to see how Google will impact because they are supplying the booking engines with rooms. Maybe Webeds deals are with the booking engines that are not doing so well with google but in none of the Morgan Stanley forecasts has this been outlined ? Any thoughts, as maybe I am missing something big ?
