The AFR is a newspaper, and like all newspapers in recent times, are struggling to retain readers/sales, the fact is nobody wants to read about the Banks continuing to screw us over, but people will read about a new Australian company that has created a wave of discussion across the country and looking at the numbers, really starting to gain huge momentum in the US. I would imagine at this point there would not be a sole in this country that has not heard about AFTERPAY. The media play an important role and yes...unbalanced and lack of researched articles about stocks...absolutely. Disrupters like Afterpay will always be scrutinised heavily and unfairly labelled by certain media outlets to sell more papers. Lets not forget most people reading newspapers like AFR are not shareholders of this stock. l view this media reporting as a "baptism of fire" and failing any unexpected hiccups I just cannot see why this stock will not return to earlier heights over the next 3 months
