To all the YES voters: (not being nasty of any sorts but genuinely interested)
Your comments on the following because I'd like to have an understanding how you perceive these developments in your investment strategies:
"E.I.M. Capital director Tony Wiggins said investors had lost patience with Hanlong and confidence in Chinese companies because of the Sundance saga. “It’s been a two-year takeover that was never even a takeover, it was all smoke and mirrors,”
BUT MORE ESPECIALLY ON THIS:
"Mr Wiggins said Sundance’s share price would not necessarily suffer if it walked away, given it is so far beneath the bid price."
AND MOST ESPECIALLY THIS:
“As a specialist resource sector investor we’re a bit dismayed with the whole process. It’s nothing more than a nuisance and it stops the company progressing the plan to develop the assets.”
I think it is now clear that Hanlong will be kicked out and Sundance will start afresh - with backing with of at least 1 fund manager - so it seems.
I have this total sense of relief that this terrible saga with this other entity will now be over and done. Luckily for LTermers - time is on our side.
Regards
