Do not profess to being anything other than a ordinary investor but at 35M tonnes a year at a conservative $40 per tonne margin (ie $68 per tonne as SDL has always done their figures on) is still $280,000,000 per annum in a 20/80 JV. What if this was a 30/70 or even a 40/60 JV?
This is a very rough calculation but what is that worth? I am not sure how this works out but if someone out there is prepared to do the sums I would be very interested in their view.
