I doubt a spill happened or the ship would have sunk. As far as I can interprete on this there was no damage to the vessel. They just have to get the engines running and clear the load. I think any environmental concerns would be on the bilge water and slury pumped out to save the ship and prevent more environmental damage. I cant see that being a significant environmental concern so far out at sea. It sounds to me like the ship wheathered the cyclone storm well and demonstrated its robustness under full load conditions. Lets hope the news is that it will be back online quickly.
