This could be quite a positive step for CER. The CNP and CER relationship is a complicated one. There is the super Llc situation and any move to improve the CNP debt relationship in that direction could be beneficial to CNP.

There is also the possibility of a "spin off" rather than a straight sale although the events today in the market would not help that occur.

CNP and CER are the most complicated stocks that I have ever encounted. While it continues to trade well below NTA I see no reason to exit. CER should be in a better position now to weather another GFC than it was last time even if the doomsday crowd are right.
