Yes and people lump the thermal coal they use to make solar panels in China ( bad ) with the met coal they use to make the steel in wind turbines ( don't know what it is or it even exists ).
China doesn't care about using either but a lot of others do and wont invest in new coal mines so coking coal should keep a reasonable price going forward as it is still essential for building everything. As you say it hasn't been replaced yet.
People might associate China with steel demand though and we don't know the extent of the slow down or otherwise yet.
