Mate, I appreciate the point you are trying to make, but I really think you looking at it all wrong.
I don't think the CCP give a damn.
In fact, Chinese state-owned companies have been taking western corporate IP, both legally and illegaly for decades now.
Much of it through the chinese partner-company law, for anyone wanting to open up shop there.
In part, what the trade war is about, the theft and copyright infringement of western IP. The EU has been complaining about this for years. And nothing ever gets done.
Why?? Because, they are China, and they have the consumer base everyone wants a slice of. It's hopeless, the CCP doesn't give 2 figs about the AFR article or what Ozzies or anyone else thinks.
I just want confirmation...has our UP been stolen or not?
