Why I would not make a long term investment in MNS.
You cant generalise between industries or companies.
State of the art, profitable Lithium ion battery manufacture.....
Industry analysis, I'll put imo after them....
At the moment net profit margins on Lithium ion battery making are around the 3-5% or less imo
Economies of scale are needed to extract that profit (big factories). imo
The science is moving quickly, graphene, solid state, xfc, other chemistries so the lifespan of equipment and assembly lines is relatively short imo.
An on-tap available well funded line of credit is needed to design and build these factories, deep deep pockets imo
There are a large number of smaller players attempting to get into the market. Many with associated manufacturing experience. imo
Company analysis MNS/c4v
Strengths
c4v IP, though there is no detail on raw material costs (bio mineralised) or on current performance. imo
Weaknesses
Finite and relatively small cash resource, run out of money? imo
Small scale factory equals higher costs equals less profit. Is it profitable? imo
New Player no industry connections imo
No previous experience in building commissioning and running a factory imo
Opportunities
Sign on a Marquee partner imo
License c4v IP to other manufacturers imo
Battery shortage? but for how long? imo
Threats
Fast moving competitors, build, re-configure imo
Makers with deep pockets imo
Technology advancements, get left behind imo
Vertically integrated industries eg make battery and build car etc imo
