Well, that’s a bit like asking how long a piece of string is. If it goes to a trial, 2-4 years roughly.
I think there may have been one, maybe two, shareholder class actions which have ever had gone to trial. It will likely settle unless it’s a dud claim for some reason and the plaintiffs discontinue. Or if msb just cannot afford to pay the settlement amount and it fights on because it has nothing to lose.
