An oldie answer; No one knows what would happen to the share price. In 2008, WAM cash was increased to 70% & share priced declined to a 40% discount to NTA.In the meantime SP has gone to the other extreme to recently trade at the meaningful premium.
Unfortunately, generally there's recently been an over emphasis on dividends.
WAM is a great company; but like many it's expensive at present.
