VANCOUVER, March 31 - West African Iron Ore Corp. (the "Company", formerly Westward Explorations Ltd.) (WAI: TSX-V) announces that it has completed the acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of Sky Alliance Ressources Guinee SA on March 31, 2011.
The Company changed its name from Westward Explorations Ltd. to West African Iron Ore Corp. effective on the Closing Date. Trading in the common shares of the Company, which was halted in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange, will be reinstated on the Exchange at the opening of the markets on April 1, 2011.....(continued)
