I'll give you an analogy using a tradie and referring the tradie as our MD & director and their free non conditional performance shares.
I'll try and keep it short:
I hired an excavator to dig me a trench for a footing.
The agreed price was $700, The job would take 3 days.
No money changed hands.
His job was to dig the trench.
He started digging but then thought.....
Being a professional digger operator on a new site he had better "dial before he dig".
He found a sewer pipe crossing the intended path.
There was a work around agreed and he proceeded with the job which completed in 3 days.
Do I give him an additional $281 for finding the pipe or was that part of his normal employment contract.
Even worse would I have given him $281 in advance even if there was no pipe there.
This is what they are asking us to do at the AGM
Hope this explains my feelings and the tradie link.
Yes I noticed the options, somebody feels the three plays in progress is worth an investment in time over the heads price.
