I'm hoping Vorster and Linda are to make an announcement either on funding & FID or another offtake, or construction before the 5th when they appear to present, this way they have breaking news to showcase, and no hold bars on promoting.

I'm hoping they do have news shortly as LINs asset is world class, so I'm not completely understanding why finance is taking this amount of time? Another co I hold at their past capital raising was over subscribed by $50mil, just to continue works, nothing exciting.
But, I have been wondering whether LIN may be seeking a funding solution with the US govt department? Govt do move slow, so that could explain it. We're only seeking $90mil which mining these days is peanuts, LIN have been saying RE has DoD applications ...

If govt were wanting to be a major stakeholder of LIN as is the case with EQNR, it could result in dilution but, in this situation I don't see govt day trading and messing with the SP, right? So I wouldn't mind that arrangement.

Or, LIN may be seeking a bank loan, banks also could take a bunch of time for them to complete their due diligence, and I dare say in the time being they'd be knocking on the DoE door too regarding their grant application time frame ..

I know LIN have been busy ticking boxes along the way but surely Alistair had these finance applications in months ago? Curious
