Went to Africa Down Under and listened to the AIM presentation and spoke to the Geo on the stand (even got an AIM showbag!).

Box cut is finished and the underground work is to commence shortly - it should be finished mid next year after which they will begin to stockpile ore.
Expecting concentrate end 2008 / start early 2009.
Long lead time items were ordered well in advance. No major cost blowouts expected.
The mine is being built - things are happening - it's just a matter of when it's completed.
Incidentally the wait for Jumbo's is around 42 months. Aim Jumbo's are being put together in Zambia currently.
They expect to retreive another 1.5% of head grade ie 16% instead of 14.5%.
Drilling results are 1 or 2 months away. Evidence of sulphidic material but nothing mind blowing at this stage. Interestingly they are also very positive about the potential for gold in their tenaments.
One of the by-products of mining is sulphuric acid and this is in demand in BF. An additional module to the plant can be constructed for 15 million. Demand for sulphuric acid is strong and would enhance the economics of the project.
Mokopane
Drilling to commence later this year. The big delay has been a water issue in the area. Apparently this problem has been resolved.
Mumbwa
One comment Flory made was calling the last intersection "gigantic".
Drilling to start in a couple of months.
Hope there is some good news because zinc's copping a hammering tonight!
