I must have missed this 'forward movement' you speak of. I can see forward movement in the share price (over the last few months), but not the actual company.
Since January 2010, what have we done?
- Drilled an additional well in Texas.
- Got a CPR for Texas.
- Gained a couple of minor assets that currently aren't doing anything for us (Trinidad and Cotton Valley).
- Missed the timescales on Puntland ('drilling happening in June 2010').
- Missed the timescales on Georgia ('drilling happening by the end of 2010').
We only actually drilled one well at all last year. One. And that was a drill in a small play compared with Georgia+Puntland.
So you'll forgive me for not subscribing to this idea of forward movement. The only forward movement has been in the share price, as people buy in on the premise that something MIGHT happen. Unless that move upwards is backed up by good news, it'll slip back.
